Dotson coming back might be the single highest priority personnel decision that I can think of in Self's tenure here.
I mean, you could argue the Rush one in hindsight. But I don't think there's been another player who's decision to come back would be this important to the outlook of the team. We basically either have an AA level PG, or we make due with non-PGs and a 100+ ranked freshman.

The best recruiting KU has done this offseason is get Dok and SdS back and I'm all for it. Give me Dot and RJ and things are shaping up in a pleasant way.

I'll be interested to see/hear if the NCAA comes out with an explanation of why they reversed the decision. Fricking cowards have a lot of egg on their faces and crow to eat. Basically wanted to ruin a kid's college experience and possibly jeopardize his future success and now they are taking it all back? F 'em!

Rush was a wing, not THEE primary lead guard. And he was a wing on an already stacked team. Even without Rush we were still top 10+, and still played really well with Robinson/Collins/Chalmers/Stewart.
