Kansas getting EL Doke, Silvio and Dotson!!!!!!!!!

Texas Tech loses fout of top six and is still 10th?

Look at that top 8.

Memphis is going to be interesting at the least.

#3 feels too high to me for a team that returns a total of 72 made threes. Maybe if we add Jalen Wilson. Hopefully they're right.

Time to introduce you to power basketball. Inside game going to be very hard to stop. You shoot 60+% on two's. Get the majority of rebounds you win. Going to be a fun year.

I think this team is going to score more points than people want to think since the 3 point shooting is lacking. Very few teams are going to be able to match the frontcourt man to man and against a zone I trust Garrett and Dotson's ability to get in the middle of it resulting in about 900 lobs a game.

Coaches who are underappreciated because they've won so often their success is taken for granted (The John Calipari category)

4. Bruce Weber: During the buildup to last season, Weber made the case that his program hadn't received the respect it deserved months after an Elite Eight run. He was right. The Wildcats split the Big 12 crown with Texas Tech last season, ending rival Kansas' streak of conference championships at 14. Weber was hired in 2012 following his dismissal from Illinois, where he led the program to the national title game in 2005 but couldn't duplicate that mark in the years that followed. But he has stabilized Kansas State, a team that has won a share of two Big 12 titles under Weber. His other underappreciated achievement over his seven years? He has led his team to finish inside the top 50 of KenPom's adjusted defensive efficiency rankings five times.

Not as hard to stop if they dont have to guard the perimeter and can just sag down and double every post touch.

Hopefully Ochai and Dotson are getting a ton of shots since the season ended. In an interview, Agbaji stated that Self made that priority #1 for them over the summer.

That's why Self preaches positioning before the catch. Be in a position to score before you get the ball so they don't have time to double.

Hopefully we get a lot better at feeding the post. We kinda sucked at those passes last year. Bad angles all over.

And Dotson was one of the worst passing PGs Self has ever played here at Kansas. He's really bad at it for a premier PG. Can drive and finish and hit some shots, but his passing was subpar.

Hopefully that improves this offseason.

Has there ever been a season where they tried to feed the post from the top of the key even close to as much as they did last year?

Didn't most people say the same thing after the 2017-2018 season? Lost 6 guys from that team.

Media poll had them 8th I believe this year in conference.

Got a couple of good 4 star recruits.

And I won't bet against Beard anymore.

Tech's 2018 team was like 75% Beard recruits.

Then lose Keenan Evans--unanimous all Big 12, highest drafted Big 12 player in Zhaire Smith and also Zach Smith.

Doyel has always thought Beard and Tech are trash--feels like a DFW elitist thing.
