Wendy's and chik fil a for spicy (and non spicy) chicken sandwiches. Jack in the box chicken suxks donkey balls. I dont even count mcdonakds as chicken. BK chicken is also awful..

ive only had one Popeyes that was good..I hear it very much depends on where the franchise is located...which...is crazy to me.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

McDonalds is trash now.
20 years ago ( I’m old ) I could get down on double quarter pounders and they were decent. Still prefer Wendy’s though even then.

If only the south had won the civil war, we would never've heard of "Juneteenth"!

Thanks, Lincoln

It sucks in that many/most businesses are not recognizing it as a day off but daycares and schools do.
So I get to celebrate Juneteenth by working the Saturday, JuneSeventeenth, before.

It's a federal holiday so we have it off. Frankly, I'd rather work as my latest big project is hot and heavy right now. I'll probably still log in for a few hours to get some work done while enjoying not having meetings and emails constantly interrupting me.

I'm a freelancer so I don't really get any days off.
The BUD however works somewhere where they could ( should? ) give her the day off.
The issue is when both of us have to work and there is no daycare.

Hence why, for me, Juneteenth sucks, because it means working on the weekend and probably some nights.

Remember when you were a kid and summer break hit?
Those were the days.

There's a neighbors kid ( I WFH ) who has been hooping all day in his driveway.
By all day, I mean, since 9 AM, and it's now close to 4.

Perhaps...just perhaps...they've been garbage this whole time....but your body did better at processing this garbage when you were a little younger.

I dunno.
I'd like to go back in time, with my body/mind now, and order a quarter pounder from 20 years ago, and compare it to one today.
I think the one previous would be better.

It might be. Could also very well be revisionist history. That's not necessarily bad.
