That's NOT what I was saying.

But I think you knew that when you replied. You took this thread down a deviant road. And the rest of the crowd joined in.

ashamed. That's how you all should feel.

I think Accounta is pretty deviant.
You’re lucky you have her/him.

One of the better holidays.

Right on up there with Cinco de Mustard.

Is it just me or do the best tacos and enchiladas tend to come from places that look like this?

i’d go so far as to say that’s even a fancy joint

some of the best tacos i’ve ever had were from a street cart in Puerto Peñasco (though it coulda been that my impression is biased by other things i was consuming)

if these two joints have one thing in common, it's that the dining room used to be somewhere you parked your car.

I had 3 reactions to this post:

- some of the best tacos I've ever had were from a street cart in Chicago, so yea I can agree that joint in the picture is fancy

- some Shirley's law joke about Puerto Peñas...wut, and/or some gusher geography smack talk about how I'm not sure where that is

- re: biased by other things I was consuming, and how that may influence impressions - I thought of that one joke like "the difference between a dog and a fox is about 5 beers"

btw the joint in my pic is called Mi Gallo Giro in Evans, CO. Try the barbacoa!

apparently that translates to the white rooster, which is some reference to Mexican cock fighting, and how there would traditionally be a white bird against a red one

but google also literally translates that term to "I cock around," so choose your own adventure.

The garage door is the bar next door, Cocktails 2. La Taquiza is tiny.

If mi gallo giro is the traditional name for the white cock against the red cock then it would be fun to start a rival competitor Mexican joint called Little Jerry Seinfeld’s
