I think part of it was they knew Republicans would start intentionally stalling the witness process so they could blame Dems for not getting to the relief bill that republicans won’t support anyway?

I will give significantly of my time, money and voice to do everything possible to vote out of office any Senator from my state who fails to find Trump guilty. Any member of Congress who listens to this case and fails to find him guilty has failed their oath of office to defend this country.

What these GOP stooges fail to ask themselves is "what am I really getting out if this"? Do they think Trump will be loyal to them for this? Only until it serves him better to turn on you, which is inevitable in this profession. The stain on their legacy is forever.

Will someone remind Trump's lawyer that BLM protests have nothing to do with this case? The best possible thing he is winning by talking about Dem statements in regards to BLM protests and the associated riots is "we should get away with this crime because we think other people got away with it before us".

I mean come on. They've now gone from "we don't think Trump is eligible to face these charges" to "we don't think you followed the right procesures" to "we don't think we should be found guilty because we think some of you did similar things and didn't get in trouble".

There has been no real attempt to actually prove Trump isn't guilty of the charge.
