Where's Psych to tell us about how the Trump appointed US attorney for the Southern District of New York is actually part of the Deep State effort to get rid of Trump?

How many more pieces of our checks and balance system need to be dismantled before it's clear even to the Trump crowd that he is simply trying to hide a giant pile of bad actions? He wants to have the head of the Securities & Exchange Commission replace him. That's right, a person who has never served as a prosecutor as the head of the federal prosecutor's office that handles some of the most important and complicated criminal cases in America. Our country is less safe with an unqualified Trump stoolie running that office. People who really want "Law & Order" should be outraged.

Trump on the firing of Berman: "I'm not involved."
Barr claims he said to Berman: "Because you have declared that you have no intention of resigning, I have asked the President to remove you as of today, and he has done so."

Seriously - What fucking country am I living in and what planet am I on?

If you read the twitter thread that I linked, the foreign money scam will clear things up.

How much obstruction of justice is enough?

Going to be an interesting day. Expect a lot of $50 words, meandering (but important-sounding) rhetorical trips to nowhere, and upscaled bootlicking.

GOP is so disingenuous. This hearing is unwatchable.

At least you didn't expect better of/hope for better from them.

As of yet, the Democrats are completely blowing this. It is just fucking CRAZY that, with everything going on and so much at stake, they're going for sound bites and shit, and not trying to get yes/no to substantive matters.

Political incompetence is not limited to the GOP party.

Why flooding the zone is working. There is so much bad going on that the Dems can't focus on a single line of questioning. Then GOP screaming BS, and Dems start chasing down those talking points.

But seriously, why do Republican voters keep voting these clowns in? They only care about politics and not actual governing.

Evidently not. This is just embarrassing, and (at least to this point) a complete dick-stepping exercise.

The proper use of this opportunity was to get Barr to commit, under oath, to certain positions (as many as possible), and unpack the implications later.

This...is not that.

I wish he would have stayed with the election results theme. Would be tremendously valuable to pin Barr down on some things.
