Was Ben Affleck cast as the main character so chicks would see/watch the movie?
Call me crazy but it's hard for me to watch a movie when I don't like the main character.

Seriously? That movie was bad, but Val Kilmer was fantastic.

I don't watch many movies but the only time I remember being impressed with Affleck was in Gone Girl.
iirc his like girlfriend disappears (or is killed?) under dubious circumstances and he's a prime suspect trying to clear his name. The whole time you're wondering if Affleck is doing a great job acting by doing a bad job acting out his alleged alibi, or just doing a bad job acting.
either way, that casting was brilliant.

It’s in the first 7 seconds of the trailer where a player asks him if he really had a full ride to Kansas to play basketball.
