Everything is brought in from the farms surrounding. It's in an old mill that you walk across a bridge to get to. Beautifully landscaped. Hydraulic powered.

local cheese board. bone marrow butter. fresh crostini. radishes. pickles. toasted pumpkin seeds.

south bristol oysters.

a fried tempura summer squash filled with cheese.

a lemon basil ice cream palette cleanser.

a celery leek lobster soup.

a head of fresh lettuce and herbs and bacon.

a perfectly cooked beef tenderloin over polenta.

caramel crumble with homemade whipped cream and raspberries/blackberries.

coffee.

still warm out of the oven cherry cornbread cookie.

That soup??

It’s only good until it starts up with the 9/11 conspiracies.

Minhin and I had an outstanding meal from the Truman booth at the Savoy. Pretty interesting renovation of the Hotel and art museum.

pdub, I wouldn't take it personally that Dr.Pepper said "I expect a full review after the meal" before your trip to Lost Kitchen, but now hasn't even acknowledged that you went.
No doubt she's in the hospital, or was arrested.

I always hated seeing patients in the ER like Dr.Pepper, who were handcuffed to their gurney/bed.

Mrs 99 actually likes having patients from the prison. She says they are the most polite and easiest to deal with.

She did have the cops on her floor different times Saturday night. Lots of extra curricular activities in the bathrooms.

I agree, patients from prisons are generally well behaved. Unfortunately, they're also extremely manipulative. But, who can blame them? They're on one of their few if ever trips out of the prison and trying to make the most of it, like any of us would. The problem is, the patient's history, what they tell you about their medical problem, contributes massively to your ability to diagnose and treat them accurately. Medicine is hard enough without injecting an ulterior motive into the process. Like a person who's faking a problem wanting you to declare them disabled, it significantly impacts your ability to treat them appropriately.

Got to hurt that Dr.Pepper is posting to threads in other forums, but still no acknowledgment of your Lost Kitchen trip/review.

#brutal

Maybe she doesn't want to use up her dialup data allowance on trivia like fine dining?

In my past life, I had to ride with a fed inmate who had been stabbed 27 times with an ice pick in his abdomen.

2 parts:
1) It was pretty cool seeing the bubbles in the little holes when he breathed (diaphragm)
2) It was weird cuffing a guy to a bed who literally could not breath.

Yeah, sucking wounds aren't anything you want to be around, much less have.

(I started to post a video, but none of them seemed appropriate, too gruesome.)

As one of my Pulmonary medicine professors at KUMC always used to say: "...and when you can't breath, nothing else matters".
