Been watching Shameless on Netflix. Just about done with Season 2. No idea why I hadn't watched it before. Freaking hilarious.

Best picture front runner.
Gotta be.
Wish they made more of these and less of The Marvels/Aquaman 2.

Finally caught up on Fargo. As a lapsed somewhat-Minnesotan, I was pleased to see it back to the familiar beats (and long Os).

I'm about (aboot) halfway through season 2. I figure it's required.

Really good series.

Haven't thought first two episodes of the alleged final season of Curb Your Enthusiasm have been all that great but there have been some funny moments and some clever writing.
What makes me happy about the show is that it riled up MTG and he felt the need to be the cunt that she is about it.

Anyways, when I am in LA in April, PaleyFest will be taking place. There will be a Curb Your Enthusiasm evening in which there will be a screening and then a "conversation" with Larry David, Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, Cheryl Hines, J.B. Smoove, Richard Lewis, and Ted Danson. Of all the events, it's the only one that is sold out.
I don't know the ratings for the show on HBO in regards to the demographics but it will be interesting to me to see who will be in attendance. My guess is a lot of liberal 60 year old white people but God I hope there are some rabble rousing MAGA type hecklers. Would be annoying for most people but would be very entertaining for me.

Why the F would Hulu ask which ad I prefer?

Just play the damn thing and get on with it.

The theory must be that annoying people with commercials about things they like might cause a delay in how quickly they hit FF. More seconds = more $ from the commercial buyers.

You don’t to skip them. I think it’s for engagement (and then annoyance reduction).

watching a fistful of dollars again, been a few years. I love these old westerns, why don't they make good westerns anymore?

not that these are some fine pieces of cinematic masterpiece, but they're great at what they are

i think Unforgiven was probably the last really good one made

Bone Tomahawk wasn’t too bad, but the story was just a little out there

The English was pretty good (but i’m an Emily Blunt fan)

True Grit remake was good.
I enjoyed 3:10 to Yuma.
Tombstone is a classic.

If The Revenant is a Western then put that in there too.

It's a little dated now but Open Range was pretty good.

yes to all of those

(that’s what i get for posting first thing outta bed and not totally awake)

Jeff Bridges killed it…and i’m a huge fan of the original

though, they used a cgi rattlesnake in the remake, while the og had a live one…kinda weak
