Grandma's 5 Questions for 7/2/20

Post by Deleted User 289 »

1. Many different shades of the color blue. Is the color blue one of your two favorite colors?

2. Name someone who posted on this site or a different KU "message board" site that no longer posts on here (or on another site) and that you respected/liked and miss.

3. You have to go on a business trip from a Monday morning to a Thursday evening. Your significant other decides to go with her/his best friend for a little get away while you are gone. A friend of yours sends you a text saying they ran in to your significant other and includes a photo. Your significant other is sitting on the lap of someone of the opposite (or same if you/they are gay) sex and both of them have shit eating grins on their faces.
Do you "confront" your significant other?

4. Customer service. Yesterday I went to a store that had their grand opening. The employees I interacted were all extremely kind/friendly/appreciative/competent. From the security, to the owner, to the manager, to sales people, to the cashier, they all made me feel like a valued customer.
In addition, they gave me a bunch of free swag including but not limited to a nice tote bag and t-shirt.
It was a very nice experience and I will be returning to the store mainly because of the customer service I received.
All that being said, name a store/business/restaurant that you recall receiving exceptional (or at least beyond expected) customer service.

5. Not saying you should like any of these songs but if you had to pick one to listen to THREE consecutive times in its ENTIRETY, which would you choose?

a) Hooked on a Feeling - Either the B.J. Thomas or Blue Swede version.
b) We Will Rock You - Queen
c) Kung Fu Fighting - Carl Douglas
d) Wild Wild West - Will Smith (with Dru Hill and Kool Moe Dee)
e) Ebony and Ivory - Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder
f) I'm Too Sexy - Right Said Fred
g) I Ran (So Far Away) - Flock of Seagulls.
h) Mr. Brownstone - Guns N' Roses
i) Afternoon Delight - Starland Vocal Band
j) Achy Breaky Heart - Billy Ray Cyrus
k) Sorry - Justin Bieber
l) I Don't Want To Miss a Thing - Aerosmith
m) Cherry Pie - Warrant
n) Anticipation - Carly Simon

5. I’d put in earplugs and let you choose one.

Same. I remember when we had like 4 weeks straight of some crazy gutter ex story. And all of our answers were to break up with her and let it go.

I don’t find chick Fil a to have great customer service. Yes, it’s ‘great’, but it’s not sincere at all, and that infuriates me.

I've never had a bad experience at Chick Fil A - and sure, much of it is forced hospitality, but i'll take that over ineptitude, apathy or disrespect.

Well honestly, about 90% of customer service focused businesses don't have sincerity in their customer service. It's all forced to get more customers and money.

Fair. But CFA has a special brand of over-the-tip southern passive aggressive ‘charm’ that I don’t like.

That said, I like the Sammie from time to time.

1. Of course. I have a blue house with a blue window, blue is the color of all that I wear, blue are the streets and all the trees are too
2. Tie between Gusher and Aardvark. I also miss Illinois' gif of Mr. Bean as his avatar.
3. Take a photo of you doing the same thing and send it to her
4. The Outhouse
5. g. But I'm sure Girl Talk or someone has mashed up all of these at some point, so I'd just bust them all out at once.
