This article has far more detail. He’s a mad man who gained control of entire university and got drunk on it. Felt invincible.

See ya.

Oh boy.
Usually once it’s in the press like this, you’re gone.
WSU however...will they fire their golden boy?

“We were tight-knit off the court,” a player said. “We all wanted to beat Marshall up. If he wasn’t the head coach, we’d whoop his ass. I’m not a fan. I’m not rooting for him. I got tired of being mother(bleeped) and being called a son of a bitch every day.”

Added another: “It’s crazy how us hating him made us closer. We all hated him.”

Yikes.

As to be expected. Fan bases always historically seem to shrug off/deny/bury their head in the sand whenever some sort of scandal occurs at the school they love. It is natural.

I mean, I get what you're saying but one thing was something that EVERYONE does, it's just now being documented, while this is something regarding assault and a mad man gone wild.

Don't think you can really compare the two in terms of fanbase reaction.

I assume he will.
The man has been making around 3 million a year.
My guess is if he and his financial advisors have been somewhat smart, he will be just fine.
That's assuming some of his former players and WSU fans don't feel the need to fuck with him.
Which I wouldn't bet against.

Nothing about this in the Wichita newspaper. Figures.

Wichita doesn't have much of a newspaper anymore. It's one sports writer (Focused on WSU game stories), a food writer, a do-everything writer and a business writer. Pretty sure that is their staff.

All their big stories come from the Star. The Wichita beat writer did write some things on twitter. But I think news broke too late for them to do anything with it locally. Imagine it'll be there tomorrow.
