Late night here in the Bluegrass and I had to work most of it. Finish up, grab a beerzo and there's nothing much on the teevee. I see a locally produced music show called Woodsongs that is recorded here in town. I've seen it before and it's kinda cool so I check it out. It's ukulele night, and this dude is shredding Dream On.

"My" horse is running tomorrow in the Haskell. It's favored to win. I predict it finishes in 2nd or 3rd. If it wins, I have little doubt (if healthy) it will run in the Kentucky Derby. If it finishes 2nd or 3rd it still might but it would be a big question mark.
The horse's name is Authentic.

I am 100% serious in saying the following. Go ahead and call the looney bin to come pick me up and lock me away.
I've said this before, I believe by 2050 there will be a MAJOR Civil War in this country.
I believe that by 2050 there will be states/territories in this country that will be re-designated. Meaning the division of states - a state becoming either two or more states or part of another state - or states uniting to become a single state.
I believe by 2050 "Caucasians" will be a minority in the United States - unless something happens in the "Civil War" I am predicting.
I believe by 2050 there will be 3x as many guns in this country as there are people.
I believe by 2050 there will be something that happens in this country where at least 20% of the people who were alive 5 years earlier will be dead.
I believe by 2050 there will be either ONLY gas powered land vehicles sold in this country or NO gas powered vehicles sold in this country.
I believe by 2050 there will be a "cure" for cancer. That being said, I am doubtful the "public" will be made aware of this.

I'm going to quit there for now. More to come. Maybe.

I just made street tacos (asada) for dinner. It’s the first time I’ve ever made at home.

Why? I live within 2 miles of 6 (at least) carnicerias.

5 min of prep, let the meat marinate for a bit and cook and warm tortillas. So easy.

This going in the rotation.

For anyone that has made, my meat was a little tough. Ideas to tenderize?
