Ouch. Dangerous sport. I rarely watch but I always cringe and brace myself when they fall off.

I love the sport and there is a certain amount of risk associated with angry 2000lb animals. But its rare for a professional to die these days. They made a ton of changes after lane frost. Sad deal.

Yea they wear helmets a lot now and flak jackets (frost got hit in the back, hence the flak jacket trend). This dude got stomped on the chest by the back hoofs as he was trying to get up and away. Crushed his chest, heart, etc.

Bull wasnt trying to hurt him. Just unfortunate.

Clowns, bullfighters are worth their weight in gold to the cowboy. But sometimes you cant get the bull away when the cowboy falls underneath the bull. Really unfortunate and sad.

I never follow rodeo. But yikes. I feel bad for his family.

He died doing what he loved. Something to be said about that.
