That's a bummer, but it sounds like KU knew it was coming and has been interviewing to fill the spot. I know posting stuff from BryBry is a whole thing and nobody likes him, but he's always right.

I think we saw that coming the day Leipold was hired.

100%. Gone are the days of a straight spread. Wouldn’t be surprised if he goes back to Tech.

With SMU, TCU, and Tech all getting new head coaches, there are plenty of opportunities for him to go home. High quality recruiter but his coaching style for the spread game doesn't exactly fit what Leipold and crew are doing.

Writing was on the wall with Jones and the new regime.

Wouldn't surprise me to see him land at either Texas Tech, TCU, or SMU.

Recruiting the B1G area--I see what's coming next for KU Athletics.

I know you’re halfway joking, but I’m kind of glad the longtime fascination with Texas is winding down.

KU picks up CB transfer from Michigan State. He originally committed to Wisconsin.

I can't claim to know a lot about the kid, having never watched him play, but this seems like a really good pick up. Former #1 recruit in the state of Michigan and Under Armour All American. Scott Aligo's connections to MSU paid off here, perhaps?

Not sure if this has been posted yet or not, but 2022 schedule is officially out.

Tennessee Tech
@ West Virginia
@ Houston
Duke
Iowa State
TCU
@ Oklahoma
@ Baylor
<bye week>
Oklahoma State
@Texas Tech
Texas
@Kansas State

At WVU in week 2 is certainly interesting. If KU can find a way to win that game and start 2-0, the season could start with quite the bang considering the next 4 games after that are some of the easier ones on the schedule. All Saturday games is also nice.

I would say our football rival lately has been <bye week> and Texas. The only two teams in jeopardy of losing to KU.
