Weed is a good communal drug. Alcohol is OK if you don't have problem drunks in the group. Any drunken group that exceeds 5 in number includes at least one problem drunk. We provide good beer and someone brought some fancy ass mezcal last year that was mistaken for white wine (only until someone took the first sip). Large communal ingestion of hallucinogens is not something I promote, so I won't be contributing to that.

What you do on your own dime is up to you. Please consume responsibly.

You can walk from one end of town to the other so no need to drive under the influence. You can sleep in your vehicle as long as it is parked on private property or not on main street. The weather is great for sleeping under the stars if that is your thing. There was room for at least six to curl up on mats under Overlander's mega-trailer last year. If a really drunk couple (she will be wearing short shorts and has a fine ass) invites you to come back to their ranch with them, just remember that people disappear and are never seen again on a regular basis in the SLV.

No one went to jail last year and we would like to keep it that way.

The only town in the entire County that has it's own jail and police force. Overlander and I know the Chief of Police and the jail is only a half block away from the Spud Lounge. Things can be sorted out without lawyers getting involved. An officer brought the drug sniffing dog into the Spud Lounge once and my big boy Udoka damn near took it's ear off and it was last seen running out the back door crying. The dispute was over a woman, not drugs; but they will think twice before they come in there again. But we want to keep things friendly, not like a message board thread.

Ah yes, good ‘ol Stumbalina.
She and Rancher Bob stopped by seemingly every hour, nearly on the hour, wearing completely different clothes every time. And every time inviting folks back to their farm. Ousdahl and I came to the conclusion that they are swingers/ax murderers.
Japhy’s brother (?) somehow made it out of there alive.

It got really creepy for me when Stumbalina texted me after we all broke Solstice camp.

She knew I was headed to Creede for some Jeeping, and suggested the 3 of us meet for drinks in Creede.

I was up above 10,000’ when she called and texted, missed them both until the next day.
