HOF coach ( blech Raiders ) with impact on a lot of guys who will be HOF ( including Andy ).
I knew him more for his announcing.
And then his video games ( of which he made the first release a year late bc he wanted it closer to actual football ).

Watching Man in the Arena, Pats get ball with 1:21 left against the Rams in SB 36, Madden says, "you have to just run the clock out and play for overtime here" then "I don't agree with what the Patriots are doing here." Great coach, the greatest color commentator--had no idea like the rest of us.
