Remy has to take some of Juan’s minutes.

Has to.

Do you think Remy's injury has possibly made our team not as good as they could be?
Like, could we be better than half a game up from Baylor with a healthy Remy?
Or would we be down four games?

Asking for a friend.

Also, what does RCB think about Remy and Juan?

What if Remy wasn’t actually hurt?

Remy got roasted on defense every time he was in there.

This was inevitable. If he comes back and looks healthy then it's "maybe he wasn't really hurt and there is team drama?" instead of "he took 7 damn games off for a bruised knee, he should look freaking healthy".

Come on.

I think it actually might have been more than every time. I don't think he was ever in the right spot on rotations, so when the ball finally got to his man he was already toast. He's not the best on ball defender to begin with, making his rotation assignments even more important.

Now we can see how Az. State lost so many games despite getting 19 a night from Martin. He probably gave up 30 a night.

Knee's don't help you know where the ball is.

Defensive rotations weren't his problem prior to the injury, so I think that's something that will come back to him with reps. Probably some first game rust. I'll be concerned if he hasn't fixed it by TCU game #2.

He's not a good on ball defender, that much is obvious. But he's a savvy defender. He makes good plays on defense, you just can't leave him on an island...I mean 1 on 1 he's not much better than a chair. But he makes smart plays, has a nose for the ball, hell, that flop he got called for fooled 1 outta 2 refs.

Yes has gotten a lot better over the course of the year. He was pretty bad to start. They don't teach defense at drake like they do here. That's one thing thats always stuck out about the transfers. Feels like they all suck at defense. Just shows how good/demanding self is with perimeter defense.

Ah, so he was fast and quick on offense but totally out if position in defense multiple times due to his knee. I was wondering about that. Thanks for the clarification.

Here's the thing (acknowledging that I didn't watch Saturday): I am very much Team Offense Wins Championships, BUT Remy really hasn't even been very good at offense!
