WVU has lost 9 of 10.
It would be very Huggins and KU @ WVU for that to happen but they are kinda reeling.
I expect it to be a struggle but I think we'll pull away.

TCU is a better squad than WVU.
There's a scenario where KU just has to beat TCU twice in 3 days to clinch.

Speaking of Huggy, he just seems so out of it this year. Not a care in the world.

When he was at AFH last month, he barely said 2 words and his assistants drew up plays in the timeout huddle most of the time.

Maybe hes jaded with seeing Calipari steal his NPOY candidate.

WVU would be a tournament team with Tshiebwe.

Might be getting ready to retire so doing some on the job training for his replacement?

As much as I hate Cal, I'm pretty sure Huggy chased him away.

Didn't he quit midseason? Maybe even mid game?

it was definitely mid-season, and I think it was because Culver was the guy Huggy played through instead of him.

You have a freshman average 11.2 and 9.3 in 23 minutes per game on 55% FG and you decide to play him fewer minutes the next season.

Whoops.

2 game cushion.
Right now we have, according to Vegas, a 72% chance of winning it.
Don't shit the bed @ lowly WVU and you'd think our chances of at least sharing the title would be high 80s/low 90s.

If you were a betting man, shoulda bet yesterday before the Tech game, when the odds were +175 ( instead of -250 ). Put 100 bucks down then, you'd win 275. Now, put 100 down, win 140.

Tickets more than 3 times the average to watch Huggy try and get 25k.
Not saying much, you can get in for 30 bucks.

Ticket prices are weird this year. I got more selling my tickets to Tarleton State and Stony Brook than I did Texas Tech and Iowa State on StubHub. Granted, the mask mandate coincided with the dip, but still odd a random non-con game in November went with no issue and I had to basically give away tickets to a Top 15 matchup the afternoon of the game.

KU (10-2) remaining games:

At Huggy
Kitties
At Baylor
TCU
at TCU
Texas

Baylor (9-4)
TCU
At OSU
KU
At Texas
ISU

Tech (9-4)
at Texas
OK
At TCU
Kitties
at OSU

Texas is 8-5 but too many weird things would have to happen for them to be in the discussion enough to post their schedule now too.

No other big 12 team currently has a winning conference record

yup
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?
