Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Clock operator screwed their own team as OSU did not control the rebound until exactly 30-seconds.

Is...is "the children keeping on top of their academics"...is that, as a concept, a singular noun? I'm ordinarily not interested in grammar smack, but in a post about staying on top of one's academics, I think it's fair game.

I believe what he's using is a gerund so he is using it correctly here.
However, if he said, the children, who are keeping on top of their athletics, is my favorite - that would be wrong.

ESPN BPI has Baylor with a 69% (nice) chance to win?

We really looking to be a 3-5 point dog considering Baylor's injuries?

Didn’t Dajuan have to sit out a year to become academically eligible, too?

69% means they are likely going to win. and that we are likely going to lose. seems about right.

BPI had KU a 68% chance to beat West Virginia. Spread was KU -5.

If spread comes in at Baylor -5, have to like the Hawks for the cover.

You're going to want to use a burner email if we lose and you have to give money to a MICH charity.

Yep, that one surprised me, good for him. Might not get all six years from him after all (unless he wants to play a couple more years after graduating like Mitch and JCL)
