KU Women's BB

Our coach, Brandon Schneider, won B12 COY.
We're very likely going to be in the NCAA tournament.
( first time since those back to back sweet 16 runs in 12 and 13 - including the upset v 3 Delaware as an 11 )

In a win or lose your job year, this team won. Good for him and them. Think they do bracketology for women's basketball and they're like an 8 seed.

Anyone know if this is a culmination of talent and this year is our peak or is it something we could build on with returning starters next year?

If I’m not mistaken, I think I saw a pic of their senior night game and they had 1 maybe 2 seniors. So maybe some good young talent. First Team All Big 12 is a junior guard. So she’ll be back I’m sure.

Most of the talent on the team will be back, they are mostly juniors, so next year's team has a chance to best what they did this year.
Schneider just got a 4-year extension as well.

Currently in a good battle with OU.
Down 6 with 5 minutes to go. OU outscored the ladies by 14 in the 2nd quarter.

Whipped Georgia Tech. Thorough ass beating. Now will face the number One-seed Stanford. At Stanford. With half a dozen fans. Shitty draw. That is why being 10-14 is probably a better deal than 8-seed. The women's volleyball team lost a true road game in the sweet 16. It is crazy they are still doing this. A completely corrupt concept. Home games for the favored few.

Can't afford real tournament venues when you have to pay for $50m football practice fields and buy out $7m a season football coach contracts, etc., etc., etc.

I actually think I prefer the tournament like that until the Final Four.

Sucks to play a road game after a fine year. Everyone deserves an honest draw in a neutral venue. Hope they play like they have Kansas on their jerseys tomorrow. Picket fence.
