Nova was making a concerted effort to limit us running. They did a good job as we would just have to run our sets.

I was shocked at Newell’s stats last night when he dropped all that info. Just absurd efficiency. We likely won’t be as efficient tomorrow night but we’re also going to have 15-20 more possessions.

When we were rolling early I got so mad at Dave for missing that dunk and Wilson for turning it over on a fast break. I thought it was gonna be like the Baylor game where we play great but don't get enough of a lead.

Then that stretch of calls, Harris block and then guybtackles Harris outta bounds but no foul. Then Gillespie hits 3 to get down to single digits....refs were doing their part for TBS lol

You know what is even worse? He has them scoring four more points in the thorough beat down. Wright obviously benefits from the same thing Few does--pretty easy regular conference schedules. These guys just don't understand how tough Midwest basketball is. Creighton was the best team we have seen so far--and they were also down a player.

Literally the ONLY aspect of Wright that bests Self is the second title…which Vegas says is likely to be matched tomorrow. Other than the titles, Self’s resume is vastly superior.

The version of the team we’re seeing in this last week with the much improved half court offense and the much improved defense ranks as one of the better Bill Self teams.
