I'm still in afterglow. And, to pick off our recent nemesis 'Nova and beat NC in the championship game makes it that much better! North Carolina!

I have to admit, when Kentucky wiped the Allen Field House floor with us 80 - 62 on January 29th, my faith was challenged.

And while I'm confessing, more times than I can count over the years, I've had the recurring thought that a team that has national championship aspirations cannot hope to achieve it with David McCormack at the post. But man, did he ever rise to the moment, thankfully, and proved me wrong!

Are we now like 5-1 or 6-1 vs UNC in tournament, going back to 91, only loss coming in 93?

I was pretty disappointed with the idiots on mass who started the rock chalk chant with like a minute to go and the game still very much not decided yet.

But all moot now!

Yeah. And they screwed Wilt in the KC era. This was for #13 too. If you ever watched the film, Wilt was basically held or pushed every possession.

awesome
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

They left it up to the individual lecturers/professors but did not have campus-wide cancelation like in '08. Most canceled.

They canceled classes in 1988. Also the rally was on the Tuesday as it was a short drive from KC. It was first scheduled at AFH and people started lining up at around 5 am (most probably didn’t go home from the “parties” on campus). We got there around 8 for the noon rally. By then they moved it to the stadium. I just went back to the lab and got to the stadium around 11

Wife is a KU grad, not a big sports fan ... except for hoops. She and her Mom, also a KU grad and 90 years old, were texting and yelling thru the whole game. We live in the CO mtns, her mom is in Leoti KS. Very emotional for my wife and her mom. Special special moments for them both.

Good to be a Jayhawk!!

Still basking. Lotta "congrats" at work today (good sport types).

Also, finished in the money on a $2 bracket. Gotta account for taxes, but, yay...
Please, I implore you to be reasonable...
