Miles out for most of the game with a leg injury probably had a lot to do with TCU loss.

Didn't expect ISU to lose. Didn't expect OU to win.
Didn't expect West Virginia to win either. Wonder if the refs got arrived away by the crowd and let WVU commit 100 fouls like the Press Virginia days.

I hate to date myself, but I'm old enough to remember when Florida was good.

West Virginia was like a 4 or 5pt favorite. I was surprised when that came out yesterday.

Here we go again? God forbid!
Didn't know until this morning that Northwestern Hoops had to "postpone" their next 2 games. Which of course then affects other teams. And so on, and so on, and so on.

I really hope the Covid shit isn't going to start hitting the US hard again.
I know 3 people who tested positive this past week and they all said they are ok but it's more than "just" a cold/flu and they are having a tough time.

Between current Covid and balloon concerns, I miss Trump as our President.
He would probably have nuked China by now.
I know, NOT funny but....

I am glad Matt Painter isn't our coach. His stuff is so boring to watch.

either way, espn gets so boned up about dook-unc it's not the least bit surprising they'd hold it there, even if neither team is ranked.
during our game the announcer dood plugged it as "...the maybe instant classic dook/unc matchup later today..."

Duke UNC is the biggest regular season matchup in college basketball. Even when they aren't ranked. It's THE college basketball rivalry.

Not sure why anyone would be insecure about that as a KU fan. We get plenty of national coverage.

The games typically do not outdraw big primetime games for KU or UK. So I don't see that as being actually true.

The importance has been shoved down our throats. People think it's big because they're told it's big. I don't really care. It's like the NFL rivalries that have nothing to do with the team I root for.

Link to that data? Just curious where you found it.

But sure, KU UK is probably the ONLY similar matchup being that it is between the 2 winningest teams of all time. The difference being we don't play twice a year. And it's sometimes on neutral floors.

Duke UNC is a big deal for college basketball. KU UK is a big deal too.

I was not talking about the KU vs. UK matchups, but those are great, I agree.

It's not just BWW Chads imo.

I think real college basketball fans watch Duke UNC. They've had some historically good matchups. True rivalry. Both historically good programs.

I don't get the insecurity some have with admitting that?

It’s not.
But the pandering media coverage slobbering reels those Chads in hard.
Watch those two games, a game over Thanksgiving and the NCAA tournament.

Coach Tang and his squad lost 3 of their last 4 games. Fuck 'im.
Not a good day for purple Big 12 teams.
