Then the list should start and end with Cole Aldrich. These guys are here for school first and foremost.

BIFM > SC

NPOY trumps natty in this instance, imo
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Collins has a 2nd team AA.
And 2 1st team conference.
And a natty.

But no B12POY - which both Frank and Vonte have.

So I suppose you could make the argument over Vonte.
But not Frank who won NPOY.

Well, Frank has no FF or better type accolades.

How we value that?

Sorry, at KU, without 1st team AA by your name in your peak year you can't be 1st team All Bill Self.
Depends on qualifications for the list. I'm not factoring in accolades. If that is the main metric then of course it's Ochai over Rush.

I think the more interesting question is, trade Och for Rush. Is the 08 team better with Och? Is the 22 team better with Rush?
Wiggins was better than Rush imo.

So if accolades don't matter then he's (Wiggins) probably on my team.
I'd take junior Rush over Wiggins.

Low if we are using the board as a barometer.

I wonder if MOP would still get the same voting after seeing how this year's went.

That's fair, I really like Rush too, but Wiggins was better at basketball than Rush every step of the way in their careers. Rush was better at 3pt shooting, but that's about it.

In that thread,
"I have trouble with NCAA MOP being so high because it very well could just be based on 1 or 2 good games - ( very important games ) - as opposed to 35 plus."

I think that is debatable at best.

Jr Rush averaged .8stl and .8blk and 3.6drb

Fr Wiggins averaged 1.2stl and 1blk and 3.7drb

Wiggins faster taller longer and could jump higher.

you can force me to live with nil and transfer portals and conference realignment.

but i will not live with oad's that accomplished mostly nothing while at KANSAS being in any conversation about all time teams.

And I agree there. Especially if we go off of accolades or total career...but if it is just 1 peak season and accolades matter, then imo Rush can't be on it over Och or Wiggins.
