Josh's NBA numbers are more indicative to the type of jump shooter he really is/was.
Jackson shot 43.5% from three in conference play on 46 attempts. I don't care what he did in the NBA. I would LOVE IT if McCullar would shoot 43.5% from three in Big 12 play this season.
Wasn't my point, but me too!

I’m not a fan of these kinda arguments from college to the NBA.

Guess Frank Mason and Xavier Henry really weren’t that great of shooters here.

On one hand, I wouldn’t mind taking our chances on a 3 who might actually be a legit scoring threat, whoever that may be.

But on the other, considering all that Mc brings, it would be hard do any better for a wing in our system.

Mccullar is honestly a pretty good offensive player. He finishes inside, great passer, good handle decision making limits turnovers. Can hit midrange and from the outside.

He gives us everything except consistent 3 point shooting

There isn't a better wing in the portal than mccullar. But with that said, there are better 3 point shooters obviously, and that might be a better overall fit

But after officially adding hunter dickinson and timberlake shooting/offense, I think mccullar would fit in much better than with our initial roster for next season before the portal entrys

I also think it would be naive NOT to think that McCullar is probably a solid reference case for how NIL means that college ball can now compete with sub-NBA pro ball.

NIL cash, very much plus all of the other cool things that come with college ball over Tulsa or Turkey, means that college ball can, does and will keep guys who would otherwise be playing in Tulsa or Turkey.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?
