Fantasy Football in a nutshell =
Drafting Ekeler with the 5th pick in the first round. 4 out of 8 games played he had less than 10 points.
Picking up undrafted Kyren Williams. 4 out of 6 games played he had over 20 points. Including 30+ yesterday.

There were only 3 of 8 first round picks in our league who are currently Top 5 in scoring at their position on the season, McCaffrey, Kelce and Tyreek Hill. Chase and Bijan Robinson are Top 10.

It's pretty much just a lucky crapshoot any more with how many injuries there are and the odds of being at the right spot in the waiver wire list when an undrafted guy starts to show he's fantasy relevant. You can even have a guy who is perfectly healthy all season end up being a shit choice when his QB gets injured (hello Garrett Wilson).

It's fun but infuriating.

Still no money from Fish or Booth/Newton.
Both players made moves this season so it wasn't as if they didn't know they weren't playing.

Inevitable that if I had pdub's team I would have the best team in the league and probably end up with a b.s. loss in the playoffs.
Ekeler = JUNK!/BUST! In hindsight I can say he cost me any chance of winning the league.

So either Mahomes has a MVP like game with 5 TDs tonight ( please!!! ) or it looks like I’ve locked up the regular season title in kcrim.

Looking like pdub 9-4, Whisky 8-5, Gutter 7-6, and Chesty 7-6, after this week.
Most likely the 4 playoff teams.

Gutter, I wish us the very best with Ekeler tonight.
I hedged a parlay with him under .5 anytime TDs and under 89 total yards just to ease any massive letdown.

Whichever way you make more money, I hope it happens for you.
It's inevitable I get Guttered in fantasy. Meaning basically if there is a way for me loose, it will happen.

Yup.
I bet my buy in for both leagues.
Just had a feeling.

Gonna double it up on Dmont Saturday on under his combined yardage and TDs plus under Jefferson TD.

Job well done pdub!
I'm somewhat laughing (not really funny but what can I do other than be angry, not care, or laugh?) because there are a lot of people pissed off at Austin Ekeler. Maybe he should respond, I didn't tell you to have me on your fantasy team and I am happy to have helped out those you went up against.

anyone who legitimately gets pissed off at a player (yknow, a real person) because of the impact on their fantasy team is fucking pathetic and needs to evaluate their lives

Those who reach out and DM the players are the worst of ever.
