Honestly, I expect him to be back.

I’m just hoping, as has happened before, he comes back more chilled out.

I'm no psychiatrist so I can't figure out why Illy chooses to be a regular at a crowded bar where a good percentage of the clientele have no respect for him. On top of that, it's a Jayhawk bar and he's not a Jayhawk. He's obviously a big fan, and being a licensed Jayhawk is not criterion for being a member of this bored, but you'd think he'd be able to read the crowd to ascertain his level of acceptance here.

I rarely post here because my work doesn't allow me the luxury of being plugged in to KCrimson all day. So, by the time I'm ready to post, the discussion has already moved on. I must admit that should he not return, I will miss the Lobster level of cognitively dissonant entertainment he has provided me over the life of his involvement in the bored. Mich is gonna have to step up to fill his shoes.
