Same here. Dude's a stud. Hishaw's right there, too.

And several other guys will grade out very highly on Monday.

A whole buncha studs, I guess.

To yr point, Daniels is THE Guy.
Please, I implore you to be reasonable...

I'm very sunburnt, still a little delirious, and haven't looked at the stats closely or anything, but I felt that Duke and KU were pretty close to even in terms of how good they were and P5 talent overall, perhaps Duke even a little better. The biggest difference was Jalon, whom was far and away the best player on the field. The dominating performance kept us in control the entire game.

We've seen it for a season and a half now, it's not a fluke at this point. He's easily the most talented guy we've had since Reesing.

Daniels had ~375 w/ his arm; ~85 w/ his feet. Touched every TD.

No question. Studly stats.

Jalon kind of reminds me of Vince Young...and I mean that in the best way possible.

I mean. I’ll nitpick your first paragraph.

KU left like 14+ points on the board. 4th and goal from 1, Devin Neal fumble on the opposing 20 and then had a 4th and 2 in opposing territory that we were going for before a punt.

KU deserved to win that game. And should have by much more than what they did.

But JD is that dude.

I thought KU was markedly better than dook. Felt more like we shoulda won by 3 scores instead of 1.

I agree we left points on the board. I just mean, from my seat, in terms of size at every position and skill level, it was pretty equal. But then Jalon was heads and shoulders above the pack. In fact, I think the 2 QB's were easily the 2 best players on the field.

Agree. I think they had the exact same passing yards. Good for Jalon to have a game like that throwing. Makes upcoming defenses have to play them honest. Can’t sell out on stopping run.

He would get my vote but to answer your question, no.......

Right now, for sure C.J. Stroud > Jalon Daniels. Others too.

Having watched Douglass, Jaynes and Reesing, Daniels is the best of them all. Douglass would have loved the running QB role, but Daniels is elite. He must have huge hands, very sure passer and ball carrier. Duke has an elite offense too, but Daniels played one of the best games in history for efficiency and judgement. Tight windows. Hard hits. Win.

I was at the game as well, went with Misery gf and met up with a couple buddies. Awesome game and my face is red. Had sunscreen on except my face because it always makes my face feel greasy.

Sublime. Almost as good as ISU in practice.
