Gutter's 5 Quick Boring Questions For Thanksgiving 2022

1. What is your favorite food to eat on Thanksgiving?

2. Approximately what time will you be eating / did you eat your meal?

3. If you are an NFL fan and had/have a free 3 hours (regardless of the time of day/night) today to watch any of the 3 games, which game would you choose to watch?
Bills at Lions
Giants at Cowboys
Patriots at Vikings

4. Of the 3 choices, who were/are the coolest? Pilgrims, Pioneers, or Pitt-bulls and Parolees?

5. I'm not a fan of Turkey (the food but not a huge fan of the country either).
If Americans were to replace Turkey as the typical main food staple on Thanksgiving and could NOT replace it with ham, what food choice would YOU choose to replace it with?

1. Fried Chicken. Same as every other day. But turkey will do for today, I guess.

2. 1:30

3. Giants vs Cowboys

4. Not sure. I'll go with Pittsburgh perogies instead.

5. See answer #1. That or steak. I don't like turkey very much either.

1. Kendrick Perkins Jr. and I have something in common. 1:05 mark.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cnGsjLj7RgQ

2. My mother, sister, (brother-in-law and father before they died) and I have a family joke in regards to what time people eat their meal.
We (about 20-25 of us at my cousin's house) won't be sitting down at the table until around 6:00pm.

3. Tie on all 3. I only care about the games for fantasy purposes. If I lose in the crimson league this week I think I may be officially done.

4. Pitt-bulls and Parolees. Is there any other correct answer?

5. Pizza

Maybe the Pilgrims really ate big chickens and thought they were turkeys? Would bring on a whole new ball game on/for Thanksgiving. I would prefer chicken but last night the turkey was actually really good. As far as turkey goes.

Mashed potatoes on a roll sounds good! This year we had some sort of potatoes that I enjoyed. Typically it's just sweet potatoes - which I don't like.

Interesting you and 99 basically had the same answers to the last 3 questions. Did you read his answers before you responded?

Watching The Last Waltz is a good tradition!
I don't like Sushi so if I had a vote I would not vote for Sushi. Meanwhile, there is always McDonalds for me to fall back on.

While I figure many people would frown upon your meal - I would have loved it.
Sorry that it seems you had a tough day - in regards to your truck.
I like your detailed response to #5. My sister (who I was not with yesterday) made Brussel Sprouts for her meal.

I'm typically not much of a dressing fan but sausage dressing sounds interesting.
1 lb breakfast sausage
2 packages Pepperidge farm seasoned stuffing cubes
2 or 3 ribs of celery diced
Half an onion diced
Butter
Chicken stock
Sage, Eye-talian seasoning, pepper

Brown sausage do not drain. Add a stick of butter onion and celery. Cook till onion is soft.

Meanwhile, pour the bread cubes into a large bowl and begin soaking in chicken stock. Stir and moosh the cubes. Add more stock until very moist. Moist.

Add seasoning to the sausage and veggies. Combine everything and bake at 350F for about 40 minutes.

Messing with a bald eagle at all is a no-no. Got laws protecting em. My uncle’s redneck friend found an eagle feather and was bragging about it and ended up getting arrested for having it.

For real tho, we shelved the turkey until it was no longer frozen solid, and ended up smoking pork instead. Still good!
