Yes Yes
No No

No Yes

I believe all four of my responses may be correct - obviously for different reasons.

Today's edition of you can't make this shit up.
The dildos and buttplugs running for Mayor of Chicago will be having a Mayoral Forum tonight - during the SOTU.
Leave it to WTTW ("public" tv station in Chicago) to host it at their studio - and then broadcast the SOTU (and not the forum) during the forum.

On a scale of 1-10, it is a solid .5

Only old people watch network TV shows at night

Ladies and gentlemen, the state of the union is...unnecessary.

Kabuki theater is unnecessary but maintaining traditions is a bedrock of human civilization.

Next thing you will be telling us is that originalist interpretation of the constitution is unnecessary.

He could send a letter to Congress -- like they did for the first 150-plus years

Nobody writes or reads letters any more. It's sad really.

8/10, he does.

Republicans have no agenda, no platform. That is, other than performance art to get on Faux news. And, how can they pass up an opportunity like this?

I don't know when the clapping thing started, but it seems like some easy bi-partisan points could be scored by congresspeople who refuse to partake.
It makes the thing completely unwatchable and it's so utterly pointless.
