It's okay.

Some different little gimmicks that are kind of cool.

It's not supposed to be an NFL replacement. It's just supposed to be a football filler.

And I think that’s the problem.
Too much of something will make it less valuable.

It’s why adding teams to the NCAA sucks.
It’s why lengthening the NFL season sucks.
It’s why extending the NBA playoff field sucks.

Scott Drew knows all about it.

It's just basically like the NBA G League, even though they aren't affiliated. I don't think that makes the NBA less valuable.

No such thing as too many sports. Playing sports is fun.

I don’t think enough people will watch to make it profitable is what I mean.

Over saturation.

It’s like more legit football now tho right? As opposed to its first iteration with some pro-wresting-y gimmick to it.

The kickoff is interesting - the rest of the guys start the play when the returner catches it, rather than when it’s kicked. Not sure how an onside kick works with that.

The 1/2/3 point after option is interesting, basically more points from further distances, rather than 1 for kicking or 2 from the 2. I’m open to it I guess.

This is definitely maybe better than the nfl:

“Less gimmick”. The league was opened The Rock introducing it.

How much more Gimmicky can something possibly be?

Isn't The Rock the part owner of the XFL now?

Looks like he and his ex-wife are 2 of the main owners.

The Rock was a D1 football player. Plus, he played a football player in "The Gameplan", a football coach in "Gridiron Gang" and a former football player in "Walking Tall".

The Rock is football. 🤣

Thankfully none of us are being forced to watch it.
