I mean...you're the one who insists on calling her by her first name to make a racialist point.
So you're admitting she is a secret muslim?

His candidacy will be no more than a novelty and allow Republicans to claim “See, we have brown people too!”

Cf. Ben Carson, Herman Cain, Tim Scott, Kanye West.
I agree that some percentage of the people will see it that way. Which sucks. And proves the point of why identity politics needs to be erased

That bitch is SERIOUS! if he has already started a list of things he definitely won't do on "Day 1" of his hypothetical presidency.

But as long as you are back now Randy, I still have questions.

How have I been a victim of wokeism?

What rights of mine have been infringed upon?

As I said earlier, I see all of my neighbors differences and I find them fascinating. It's the differences that draw me to them and therefore bring us together. I find you fascinating and therefore keep asking you questions.

Do you hate me? I don't feel hatred towards you.

DC made a good point to me the other night. Any debates that would allow Ramasmarmy and trump to run roughshod over each other and Nimprada would be entertaining TV. It would be worth watching just to see what nicknames trump comes up with for the two of them.

Im potentially going to look stupid here. But...is this Vivek person a real person? I honestly have no clue, I've never heard the name before. I'm assuming its some obscure political hopeful based on the few comments I've read here. If it is, makes sense that I'm lost. I dont follow political people or keep track of them too closely. Policies, ideas....sure...people, no, they are interchangeable beyond the select few that have real charisma and leadership qualities that can sway the landscape significantly.

What I know for sure is that he was on Tucker Carlson's show and was NOT given a bitch ass slouchy chair to sit on while discussing his book of groundbreaking revolutionary thoughts on how "woke" is destroying our country and infringing on my rights.

So the dude is fuckin legit.

I think he brings his own chair.

When you're worth $600+ million, you get to do that.

And I had never heard of this vivek ramaswamy dude either. He's definitely a dark horse candidate. Nobody knows his name yet. Nobody knows how to pronounce it, and its gonna be hard for him to overcome that. But he made a really good impression on me. He seems like his main goal is to put an end to all this political bullshit and actually try creating solutions for this country. We desperately need that

So even if he doesn't win, his voice needs to be heard and is going to impact politics. People running against him are going to have to adapt to his mindset

I hate the 2 party system, but im sure it'll come down to "this democrat vs this republican" for president as it always does. My biggest desire is that neither biden nor Trump or in the final 2

We need someone much younger. This vivek guy would make a strong candidate

WTF - Are you even literate? Every kindergartner would be able to sound out the syllables in his name and say it easily. How difficult is it to say RA-ma-SWA-me?? Exactly as written.

Illiterate, lazy, stupid or all of it?

Maybe that should be a test for determining suitability to vote!

hmm so you need to be proficient at something to vote on it?

terrific news.

Sounds like you won't be voting on many many things you sound off about then.

not to mention many things, particularly names, can be pronounced significantly different than the phonetics would suggest.

Hey TDub, sorry that my sarcasm tag was malfunctioning. 😄

It irks me to no end when someone looks at a name with more than five letters and gives up. In this case especially, it’s not that complicated. Literally a kindergartner just learning phonics can come reasonably close to pronouncing Vivek Ramaswamy correctly. More intuitive than ‘Reagan’ (to your point)!! I’ll bet Randy’s target demographic has no trouble saying ‘Schwarzenegger’.

I will say that if the ability (or not) to pronounce somebody's name has any bearing on whether or not a person votes for them...then.....thats a sad state of affairs.

Exactly. That’s the point I was trying to make. There are so many reasons not to vote for him but his name isn’t (shouldn’t) be in the top 25
