The best fish sandwich I am aware of is at Frenchy's in Clearwater Beach, FL.

I prefer the original cafe or saltwater location, but they are all good/similar.

Fried grouper sandwich w/ fries and stone crab appetizer (if in season).

As I have said, I'm not a fish guy but being a Chicagoan it SEEMS to me that most "local" Whitefish typically comes from Lake Superior and not Lake Michigan. Anyone - Yes? No?
Perch is more of a Wisconsin and Indiana fish. Anyone - Yes? No?

P.S. I had a double burger yesterday.
I 100% respect that people choose to refrain from eating meat on Friday/s but I can't help but wonder how many of those people refrain from ALL other "sins" on Fridays.
Which brings me to...... Forgetting specific religions, why do people believe that what they eat and don't eat has any bearing on how their "God/" perceives them? If God feels I'm a sinner because I will eat bacon on my pizza - I have news for God, I really don't give a shit and I've done a hell of a lot worse for me to be judged by him/her/it. Just sayin'.

Sturgeon is an underrated fish. Maybe the best fish dish I have ever had was the Sturgeon at Lola in Cleveland. One of Michael Symon's spots, unfortunately it didn't survive the pandemic and is now permanently closed.

I've caught and eaten much more crappie than walleye, and they're both delicious but if I had to choose it would be walleye for best freshwater fish.

When people talk about "perch", I'm never sure what fish they're referring to. The majority of my fishing occurred in the Ozarks and Minnesota, and "perch" were so small we never ate them. I've caught a million of them, have no idea what they taste like.

To me, it's hard to beat Grouper, but there are a plethora of saltwater fish that are really good.

I didnt know whaling had anything to do with crab or what either have to do with Burger King


on a related note.....We did to the Whale what we did to the Bison. Its fucking shitty. Hunt to eat, use it all, leave the rest alive. I dont like humans.
