won't matter as long as Dajuan is Steph Curry!
I hope he's more like NBA Steph Curry, where his team actually wins some championships, and not like his 2008 Davidson team, that didn't even sniff the final weekend.

Can’t blame Dick for gettin paid ( well maybe just a little ) but I think he woulda dominated college BB and gotten drafted top 5.

So even loosing out on that 4.5 mill this season, if he was top 5, he’d still have earned at least 10 million dollars more in his first five seasons.

Phuck Gradey Dick. I’ll say that here, as and not in the Limp Dick Energy thread, as to not besmirch someone that contributed so much to Jayhawk basketball.

Could dick have elevated his stock to top 5 though?

The number of white Americans that go top 5 in the nba draft is pretty abysmal tho. Think there's been a couple 7 footers in the past decade

There were rumors he'd go 6th to the Orlando Magic just this last season - many had him a top 10 pick.
It's not much of a leap to think he'd improve to top 5 if he dominated college BB - which I think he would have.

And, as for your eyeroll comment, I present just 2 drafts ago, the no. 2 overall pick.

Crazy that Timberlake hadn't carved out a role on this team, he barely played against uconn

Meanwhile cam Spencer played 36 minutes in pain for uconn.

Timberlake's final 2 schools were kansas and uconn. When Timberlake chose kansas, uconn added cam Spencer as a back up plan when they missed on Timberlake

I was very meh about this team at beginning of year. No emotional response as a fan.

Starting to really like them, minus HD, honestly, although I recognize his importance and role this year.

They are scrappy and continue to play regardless of situation. And that’s fun as a fan.

Also think either/both EJ and Timberlake are going to have strong conference play, which will be huge.

I think we've officially got our starting 5. Furphy seems to have put some distance between he and Elmarko. Partly due to Furphy’s play and partly due to Elmarko's play.

After last night, it definitely looks like the fifth starting spot is Furpthree's to lose. What a pleasure to watch him seize the moment like he did last night. IMO, his biggest challenge has been dealing with bigger, older, more physical opponents, but he certainly helps fill our outside shooting void, and man, can he run the floor. He seems to have a great motor, and great instincts.

He's more likeable as a Jayhawk.

i cannot stand that host…obnoxious
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?
