Nice win.
Say what you want about ESPN+ but it sure was nice to be able to tune in and watch the KU Women's team beat Mizzou in a "win or your season is over" game. I saw the halftime score on twitter and turned it on and watched the 2nd half. It's nice to have so much more accessibility to games like this.

My dad went to the game last minute and sat in like the 6th row center court.
He had a good time seeing us beat down on Mizzou.

So there's no central location for the women's NIT for the Final Four?
They just play at the higher seeds venue?

Correct. KU hosted the women's NIT championship like 15 or so years ago in AFH and had 16,000 there. Don't think they won, but the women's team used it for some decent success over the next few years and got some decent recruits from it.

I bet they feel like they got snubbed and they wanted to prove that they were snubbed.

It's the same reason why the women's NCAA hosts the first 2 rounds on campus sites, they need to have decent crowds there. Good chance you won't get that at a neutral site for the 1st round. They rarely do neutral sites until Sweet 16 games.

So if, knock on wood, KU wins this week, are they the highest seed and would host the championship?

No clue. Just think they pick a spot and go. Probably try to pick the better venues and more. Which is why they've always played home.

So, uh, can we play at your place again?

Smashed Washington.

Host Columbia Saturday in AFH for the championship.

Good for them. This buys Schneider another year.

The benefits of playing in the NIT are like bowl season. More practice and chemistry for next year. I am enjoying their run.

Nah. But on CBS Sports Network. So that’s cool.
