hilarious that randy is showing his true discriminatory, bigoted views

(not surprising though)
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

We continue to catch politicians in lie after lie after lie... do we not?

The people deserve to at least interpret things in open discusion. Instead of having "the truth" dictated to them, to later find out it was a lie. That cycle needs to be broken.

Musk is 100% right about this

Used to be the news would you what happened, and it was up to you what to think.

Now the news tells you what to think, and you have to figure out what really happened

i said nothing about politicians…they aren’t the ultimate problem today, in and of themselves

musk is the problem; zuckerberg is the problem; the trumps, mtgs, and lidells of the country are the problem

the alex joneses are the problem

the faux newses are the problem

but ultimately, it’s the rubes who eat their demonstrably and court-certified falsehoods up, and continue regurgitate it, that are the problem

Ok, if he is 100% right about "this" then why does he continuously and consciously tweet his opinions in a manner in which he wants his followers to NOT think for themselves but to feel what he says is the word of God?

This (your point) is the heart of it.

The Rs are quite transparently and clumsily using a statistical non-issue to rile up the rubes. They are not engaging in anything like a good-faith discussion, and are instead using this statistical non-issue to advance the broader program (which is to impose white, Christian "morals" on everyone).

And, frankly, they're exploiting straight, white women as pawns in this theater. There is a ton of VERY REAL damage being done to careers, families, people, arising out of these games. In trying to "solve" for the extreme edge case, the Rs would - the Rs ARE - directly attacking the physical and mental health of potentially millions of fellow citizens.

No there is obvious back and forth between both sides. Its somehow become a pivotal topic in the culture war despite the world having so many bigger problems

It's just so fucking disgusting. I said this in another thread. The bad-faith play afoot here is to pass legislation that restricts firearm access to "people with mental health issues"*, and in so doing, get legislation on the books that categorizes the fact of being LGBTQ+ as a "mental health issue."

* In their unlimited bad-faith, what will happen is that the Rs will point to this discriminatory and hurtful legislation (which of course will fail in the Senate) as "proof" that the Democrat Party won't engage in good faith on gun control, and it's the Democrat Party again putting the nation's youth at risk. This will then be cover for the Rs to continue to do NOTHING about gun violence. It's all so painfully fucking obvious.

Somehow?

SOMEHOW?

The somehow is that rubes buy "I'm an American and my penis goes in a vagina" tchotchkes, and get all horny to come to the ballot box when they can vote down the Democrat Party and its trans-pushing agenda.

But we can't act like the biden administration isn't making this worse. Or that its a "centrist idea" to agree with. A lot of women are truly offended by the mockery this makes or feminism

i’ve not once seen a bumper sticker claiming “i’m proudly anti-conservative” or “proudly anti-right”

i’ve seen several proclaiming “anti-woke” or “anti-liberal”
