See, here's the thing.

I would be very, very surprised if someone who openly considers transsexuality a mental illness does NOT casually do things like mock pronoun choices, criticize Bud Light for partnering with Dylan Mulvaney, etc.

All of those things - little, casual, everyday bigotries - tell your kids who you are, and inform how you might react if THEY are in what you clearly consider to be the "bad" group; are you going to tell the same jokes about them as you do about Dylan Mulvaney?

So fuck and no, they might not want you to know they are questioning their gender/sexuality and so on.

And it goes without saying that, statistically speaking, we're talking about households that are more likely than average to have weapons.

I hope that's true (and, for what it's worth, I believe it's true).

But if you want to create just the tiniest doubt as to that in the minds of other people, one good place to start would be to adopt and advocate for the bedrock belief that transsexuality is a mental illness.

I think there is a reasonable debate to be had regarding trans men competing against women. The problem here is the reasonable part of it. This is meant to further marginalize a group of people for political show. The motivation is malice towards a small group of relatively powerless people for political gain.
