If his "manager" has half a brain he will find someone with money (i.e. Booth? or heck, anyone who can afford it) and tell Grey Flannel to let the seller know they will give them a fair price for the items before they go to auction - so that they can and will be returned to Frank.

Scum indeed. Its typically people that had to downsize for whatever reason, often financial reasons, being forced to pay to store their extra shit. And the storage property manager is in a win win, either you pay your bills, or you dont, and they get to seize and sell all your shit
