My assumption is that the vast majority fo their classes are online to where they can do them at any time from anywhere.

I think it largely depends on the player.

No, but they do have limits on time they can be coached. Which is dumb.

I think you're right that some people develop better in college, where they have time to slowly build up to the competition they face.

Others have done fine just going straight into the pros.

In this particular instance, I think Furphy probably would be better served spending another year (at minimum) in college. We've got some young guys doing decent in the league (Gradey, Och, CB) and I think he's by far the worst at basketball out of those guys. We have also had other guys I think are better at basketball than him go to the league and flame out relatively quickly.

I hope he makes it. He has intriguing skills and size. I am not overly optimistic about his chances of being an above average NBA player.
Worthless 2 cents.....
As he gets closer to the draft he will know if he will be a first rounder. If so, I have to figure he's gone.
Second round - he stays in college. KU? Probably.

Rumor mill has it the likelihood of furphy pulling out of nba draft is beginning to look favorable.

We might see a sophomore year after all

Zeke Mayo, the Lawrence grad, and the transfer who I will cheer for most because of that.

The "rumor mill" is worth about as much as the toilet paper I wiped my ass with a couple of hours ago.

Smoke leads to fire bud. Furphy isn't fully committed to the draft and is thinking more strongly about returning

As of a few days ago, yes. Self told him "we" have a spot for him if he wants to return. Of course that can change.

Hey "Bud", if you used your brain you would realize there is a damn good chance I know more about Furphy and his future than you - and your "rumor mill" does.
But hey, thanks for filling US in on what the "rumor mill" is saying.

So if he returns... Assuming that means no Kugel...

Harris
Storr
Furphy
KJ
Dickinson

Can you really start that lineup?

Thanks for humoring me!
I'm not Furphy so I can't definitively answer your question. Sorry.
I could find out very easily what Furphy is leaning towards doing - but it can obviously change.

My hope for him is that he gets paid to play Basketball next season. Wherever it is. I'm not at all convinced it will be in the NBA.

Harris
Griffen
Furphy
Storr
KJ

Dickinson wears a cowboy hat, face paint and 9XL wranglers and sits in a barrel on the sidelines with a microphone being a funny man.

ok...guess not. But I think you have to start Griffen for the shooting. But Storr didn't come here to not start either....

I’d love it.
How much money do I have to give to Mass St Collective for that to happen.

Storr is significantly better than Griffen based on what I have seen.

It'll be:

DH
Furhpy
Storr
Kj
Hunter

Most likely.

Although, I am not sure why Furphy would be deciding before he's even gone through workouts. I also think he's safely into the late 1st/early 2nd range, so if he wants to go he's going to be in a safe enough spot to go.

That lineup would have some problems with defense and ball handling I would think.

And shooting. Storr isn't a great outside shooter.
