Chicago dogs from Portillo's for lunch. Pretty tasty but I like the Eye-talian beef better.

I dunnonabout minute rice...but those freeze dried meals, the Mountain House ones are actually pretty damn good. Or, at least they taste pretty damn good after long days of hiking or hunting. They've come a long long ways since when I first starting eating in the woods.

I think in Boy Scouts we brought Backpackers Pantry -- which from my memory were delicious -- but on a much smaller scale than the people eating a mouse on Alone, it was likely because I was so hungry.

I remember as a kid my rents would buy the combo pack.

I'd rank em like this:

Apples & Cinnamon
Peaches & Cream
Maple & Brown Sugar
Cinnamon & Spice

Then there was the Kellog's combo pack:

Apple Jacks
Corn Pops
Frosted Flakes
Froot Loops
Honey Smacks
Rice Crispies
Corn Flakes
Raisin Bran
