Late Night 2023 "Talent" / "Performer"

Post by RainbowsandUnicorns »

Sorry if posted elsewhere. To me, about as exciting if they had a drag queen named Ida Ho performing.

I was kinda surprised to learn he’s like one of the best selling recording artists ever or something

I was gonna call bullshit, but then I looked it up and he's 47th all time.

That, is a sad statement about music tastes.

That is absolutely insane to me. Even if we stick to hip hop-ish music he shouldn't be in the top 50. Much less across all genres.

I'm not seeing him that high...but according to this, he's outsold Tom Petty, which is just painful.

As I say too often, to each their own when it comes to music taste but if someone prefers Flo Rida over Tom Petty, then I have to assume they put cheese on their BBQ and prefer SubWay over Yellow Sub.

True. Flo-rida definitely not my cup of tea. Neither is Ice-T.

Right?

When I first saw that stat a few years back he was like top 10.

And I didn’t even know he had more than one song!

Highlight of Late Night for me would be if Furphdawg dunked on Flo Rida's head and yelled in his Australian accent - "Welcome to MY house BITCH"!

Lol

But since he’s Aussie, instead of saying “bitch,” let’s have him say “wanker”

And again since he’s Aussie, it’ll sound more like, “waynkuh”

Why does ESPN just say "your event is about to start"

Ever since ESPN+ took over the broadcast we see less and less every year. 10 minute scrimmage? No skits? No coaches speeches? Bogus! Wasn't even worth tuning in.

I agree with Self - they looked pretty terrible. Self was pissed.

Will help when KJ and KMac are playing with Juan instead of against him.

Just like after Puerto Rico, I think the Udeh/Zuby for Hunter trade was not a good one, even just from a basketball-this-season perspective. He's infuriating to watch.

Furphy didn't look athletic - hopefully was just nerves? Very different than the highlight videos.

Nice seeing Timberlake make shots, but trigger was a bit quick, though that was true for pretty much everyone.

Juan/KJ/Kevin looked perfectly fine.

Same. Most have them as the preseason #1, but my gut feeling says that's wrong; WAY too much turnover from last year...and I'm not sold on Hunter Dickinson, especially on the defensive side. I am glad that Arterio Morris is gone, though.
