College is way different.
Unless you’re Hunter.
Tatum was walking everywhere. A full lazy ass walk.

No one has acted like he was once in a single college game I’ve seen this season.

Here lies the problem (to me). Many guys in the NBA are getting paid A LOT of money - no matter if they are lazy in a game, or 2 games, or 5 games, or 10 games, or 20 games, or 40 games, or not.
I have said it before and I will say it again, it will never happen but it would make a difference if guys got paid AFTER the game/s and/or season/s based on what they did and didn't do.

Tatum is getting paid 32 million this season. Let's say that's based on 85 games (including the playoffs).
That's approximately $375,000 a game. More than most of us on here make in a year, or two years, or 3 years, or 4 years.
He could average 5 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist, 0 blocks, 0 steals, and 10 turnovers, per game this season and he will get paid same as if he averaged 35 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists, 5 steals, 1 turnover per game. Something isn't right there.

Are you OK with your employer docking your pay if they felt they didn't "get their monies worth" out of you yesterday? Yeah, nothing positive comes out of that model.

You also can't get named to All NBA if you are o=under the threshold and that brings in a lot of salary implications. If you make certain All NBA teams, you're eligible for bigger max contracts than if you didn't make those teams. Halliburton may lose 40+ million due to this bad m=hamstring issue he h=is dealing with.

100% if my employer gives me more pay if they feel they got more than "their monies worth" out of me on other days.
I do agree with you that LITLLE (not "nothing") positive comes from that model for salaried workers but there is a good reason why some people get paid based on the work they did (or didn't do) daily.

An update in "The Process".
Marcus, Korkmaz, and 3 2nd rounders for Hield.
How does that affect Oubs?

That feels like a steal for the 76ers, no?
I think Hield is a better player than Oubre - easily a better shooter - but maybe they can play both of them on the court at the same time.

One starter, one second unit.

Or maybe together if next year Tobias is somewhere else.

Just saw that Agbaji is headed to Toronto to join Gradey Dick.

The Utah Jazz are finalizing a trade to send center Kelly Olynyk and guard Ochai Agbaji to the Toronto Raptors for Kira Lewis Jr., Otto Porter Jr. and a 2024 first-round pick, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The first-round pick will be the least favorable of OKC/Clippers/Rockets/Jazz in 2024, per sources.

Gordon Hayward could be a nice piece if he gets into form for the Thunder.

The Bucks are now 1-5 with Doc Rivers.
Yep, they were 30-13 with Adrian Griffin and fired the guy to hire Doc Rivers.

This was before last night's loss.

The not so funny thing is when he was in Utah the guy had seasons of playing 72, 66, 72, 77, 76, 80, and 73 regular season games. He was not thought of being "injury prone".
Then BOOM. The nasty ankle (and tibia) injury. Him being "Injury prone" (mostly leg related) after that, sucks for him, his team/s management, his teammates, and his team's fans, but everyone should have known the risk/s and what they were getting with him.
