Targeting was also important. And so were their OL holds. Rewatch the game and it will piss us off forever

There was a bad missed double hold I think on a second down. Both our ends were pulled to the ground.

The helmet hit im fine with in terms of how I think football should be played but we had dudes ejected from the game earlier this season from less than that.

How deep we need to dig his soil out?

The problem with the fade is you're committed before you know if it's there or not. Takes a really good receiver and a perfect throw.

Give him time to judge it first.

It took multiple fluke fails from our team and a extremely blown call for ksu ( turnover on downs instead of 7 ) to beat our third string quarterback.

If Lance and Jalon are back next year I like our chances.

Yeah. There were guys open everywhere else too. KSU was pretty terrible defensively and that one guy look was a stupid decision frankly.

This is definitely a season of what ifs.

I am hopeful we continue to improve where we are good enough to overcome the coulda shoulda’s.

Raised expectations are a beautiful thing. Hard to stomach losing winnable games though.

As bad as the phantom hold was and as mind boggling as the dropped punt was, the biggest swing was not catching that interception ( Rich Miller I think ). Even if you didn’t return it ( which you probably would have ) that was a two score swing.

Yeah. We were very lucky against OU because we tried to give it away. Teams looked at that and let us beat ourselves afterward

It is.
But pulling back, we were in a game vs a team that could weasel into the B12 title with OUR THIRD STRING QUARTERBACK.
