The announcers and even lack of replay wouldn’t bother me all that much—but the officials making them the most important story of the game does.

A question I would have is who is reviewing the refs' performance, and does THAT person have access to something more than the broadcast?

I would hope so...but I also have no idea in the context of a one-off like this.

And then the question is, does it have anything to do with location?
