Oh come on you guys, who’s doing what tonight?

Imma take it chill. One Coors lite plus a hero dose of edibles. Hope to be in bed shortly after the east coast ball drop

Mrs. 99 is working. I'm watching football and Twilight Zone.

I'm hoping to be asleep shortly before or after midnight.
If I wasn't sick I would have wandered the streets watching people get in to fights, mugged, and shot.

At my sisters, along with cousins, uncles, aunts and their broods for an unrelated event. All the yung’uns are up and having a great time. We’re all up anyway and catching up with family, who we haven’t seen in years

This year my resolution is to stop being so passive aggressive…

…unlike some people I know!

Assuming you get along with your extended family, that's quite an opportunity.

Happy New Year!

I went to bed early at ~ 11pm, but there were so many fireworks going off around me, falling asleep was out of the question for well over an hour.

(Then I woke up ~ 3.5 hours later and couldn't go back to sleep, so it could be a long day.)

Mostly get along with everyone, for the most part. We put up with some of the spouses to a lesser degree but still nothing serious (a couple of them are a little quirky and moody, but who isn’t!). I was actually talking about this with one of my cousins. My wife and I would have no real objections to any of them crashing at my place for a week (or vice versa).

Ended up staying awake until around 2. Had to get up around 7:30 because my one sister, nephew and my daughter had to get to the airport for a mid-morning flight. Not too many fireworks in my sister’s neighborhood.

Spoke with these guys briefly. Foreign. Couldn't make out the accent. I'm guessing Russian.
They were heading to the lake to jump in.
The air temperature was 34 degrees with a water temp of approximately 37 degrees.
