EJ also the @iowa state game. One of the best single games of the Self era. Dropped 39 and was devastating to close out the game

I recall that one ( well both but just talking about the @ ISU masterwork ).

I was at The Pourhouse ( RIP ) the local NYC alumn bar on what must have been the late Monday game.
Buddies went out and met up with my best friends older brother who hadn't gone out alone ( he had just had a kid, living in NY ) in half a year. He was buying. He bought all the shots. I want to say there were pitcher specials so we were each drinking our own pitcher. And then the game went into OT.

Next day at work was very rough.

I think just generally I recall us leaping up and down and hugging each other when Elijah started rocketing three after three. I haven't watched randy's clip but there musta been a guarded NBA 3 or two.

The bartender probably would have hated us but my best friends older brother has a thing with the ladies and was married at the time so she was very into chatting with us ( him ).

We are the 6 seed.
Gross.

That’s gonna be a 9:45 tip here.
If they advance it’s the same for Thursday.
Good luck Hawks.

Which means it will actually start at ~ 10:10 and last until close to 1:00.

Marvelous.

Well the time says 8:30/9:30 ET so I added 15 minutes…but you’re probably closer with an extra 25.

9:50-9:55ish.
Can’t stay up til 1 on a school night.

In our own conference.

What will we be in the tournament with no HD?

Kansas basketball was well-represented on the end-of-season All-Big 12 Teams with all five members of the starting lineup earning conference honors. The Jayhawks had five total honorees, highlighted Kevin McCullar and Hunter Dickinson earning first-team honors. Dickinson was also named to the newcomer team and earned Newcomer of the Year. Additionally, Dajuan Harris was named a conference honorable mention and earned a spot on the All-Defensive team. KJ Adams also earned an honorable mention spot while Johnny Furphy was an honorable mention and part of the freshman team.
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

I think Dajuan got hosed just a bit...I think he's good enough to be on the 3rd team...but generally I agree with the way the awards shook out.

One would have time to catch a Broadway show and still see tip.

I fully welcome and embrace any and all bad fan labels this season.
I don't think i'm at the point where i'd prefer watching a musical over KU but I sure will skip to get my beauty sleep.

If KU somehow makes it to Friday, that's a non school night, 10 PM tip no issues.

I think it's so context-dependent.

On a team like we expected to have (being a great one), I'll take Harris over the two smaller guards on 3rd team (Walter and Isaacs).

But with our trains never running on time on offense, there's just not much of an argument in his favor.

I personally wouldn't hang the "bad fan" tag on anyone who skips Wednesday.

I'd say skipping is worthy of a bad fan label consideration.

Not sure if hunter and mccullar being out is official? But we all know it's likely and probably the smart thing to do.

But I still want to watch how the other guys do. See who steps up. It'll be especially good minutes for the freshmans development

If hunter and mccullar are out it is. Puts us down to 7 scholarship guys and not our 2 best players. Freshman play by default. Freshman development happens while trying to win

It's a good environment for the freshmen to experience IF we keep them over for next season.
That said, the Sprint Center is trash.
