03-04 was a loss (by 20) down there
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Furph got cooked on defense a lot last night.
But did he did more cooking on the opposite side.
Dick got cooked on defense last year too and still went lotto.

Furph is tall, long, runs like an antelope, and can shoot. That’s the sorts of stuff scouts look for

I don't think Bill has even come close to that kind of beatdown @ OSU.
You'd have to search back to Roi's tenure i'd guess - but OSU had some decent squads back then.

We were up 15 at half.

Our new freshy starter had 15 at half.

I kinda wonder if that pleasant surprise was the difference between us being up big, and another dogfight sorta grind out

I'm willing to bet most of my crimbucks that Furphy won't be leaving to the NBA after this season.

Nah, if he wasn't there then those 15 get redistributed to others. KU took what they wanted last night with little pushback from the opponent. They make a fee more chucks in the 2nd half when KU took their foot off the gas defensively a bit. That wasn't going to be a fight at all last night. Okie State sucks.

Agreed. He'll be here through his junior season is my bet.

That was easily Self's biggest margin of victory as KU coach @Okie State. He's had a few 15 point victories but never 20+.
