They'd already have a title if they kept Jimmy Butler.

Only one team can win the championship.
Since Embiid has been with the 6ers they have had the pieces and the coaches to do it. More than once.
It's been a hell of a process for Embiid - and they are yet to get conference Finals. Not much more he can do for his team to be successful. It's like he (and that franchise) is snake bitten.
The only season that was remotely close was when Jimmy butler was there, and they took eventual champs Toronto to 7 (the kawhi Leonard game winner)

Otherwise that franchise had done a pitiful job
In HINDSIGHT it seems they did a terrible job but they sure made an effort to be successful through the draft and with the addition of bringing in some all-stars - including Harden.
I think in foresight a lot of people saw those issues coming. Including with harden, but getting him out of Simmons was a good risk

Ben Simmons was the single biggest issue with everything Philly has dealt with

Well, they also wasted picks on Okafor and Fultz.

Simmons actually gave them some positive things before it turned into a plane crash.

Philly should draft Bronny with their first round pick and hope LeBron will come for the vet minimum so they can keep the entire gang together.

I'm being 100% serious.

And iirc LeBron doesn't have to make a decision on opting out until right after the draft.

If you could guarantee with the Bronny pick that you'd get LeBron for 2 years, I agree with you, the 6ers should do this - what would they have like 16-18th pick? Tobias Harris is out and clears up a lot of space so money not an issue.

Had this conversation earlier today. Tobias harris is a free agent. They have cap room and plan on pursuing a forward. Paul George has been rumored to be the target. But we joked about them drafting bronny to lure LeBron. You know someone will

But I doubt anyone uses their 1st round pick in bronny. 2nd round sure. You can still potentially find a good player in the 16-18 range. Philly drafted Maxey 21st overall

For 2 years you draft Bronny Bryce and whatever the daughters name is. Make Savanah the assistant coach. And pray to God Maxey and Embiid are healthy in May for the playoffs.

And if the Knicks have a pick before the 76ers they should do the exact thing.

The main issue is LeBron probably isn't going to give any guarantees ahead of time, because he won't want a shitty team snagging Bronny to force him their way.

It's not an accident that he's got the ability to opt out. He's been plotting this moment for a handful of years. Just in case an good opportunity presents itself to play with Bronny.

Personally, I think Bronny should transfer to Duke and play there for 3 years. But it seems like he's going to stay in the draft.

What happens when some team drafts bronny and LeBron signs there. Then LeBron starts demanding bronny get playing time lmao

My guess if this happens is that LeBron wouldn't do that and would rather just play with Bronny when games were decided.

These officials suck.
I’m neutral here but there have been atrocious calls on both sides.

I think I realized one maybe admittedly subjective reason why I might like Tatum ( though his stats are better in almost every single category ) than Anthony Edwards.

Tatum is good and is cool about it. Closer to Duncan. He knows it and doesn’t have to scream it.

Edwards screams it.

He's a Celtic with a weird kobe obsession. He wore a Lakers arm band while playing in a Celtics uniform. It's cringey

Kobe was Tatums idol.
Right before Kobe died he invited Tatum to spend the offseason together which he did.
You can imagine how a 25 year old might miss someone who was important in his life but that would take an iota of emotional intelligence which we know you lack in spades.

I guess you must feel Kobe had a "weird" MJ obsession.

Thunder/Mavs - I can't decide who I think will win the series. I'll go Mavs in 7.
Wolves / Nuggets - I'll go Nuggs in 6.
Celtics / Cavs or Magic - I'll go Celts in 5.
Knicks / Pacers - I'll go Knicks in 7

So they want to hire a coach who has never coached before to replace a guy whose biggest mistakes were "he's never coached in the NBA before" type mistakes. That is perfectly on par with the Lakers these days.

What is "it" in this scenario?

Not disagreeing, just curious.
