Yeah I'm not sure why he included Trae in that list. The hawks probably aren't even keeping him much longer. Constantly in trade rumors

He’s like a Russell Westbrook who can shoot the 3 but doesn’t rebound. Pass.

If you saw and remembered what he did in 2021 against the Knicks, 6ers, and Bucks, you wouldn't be asking why he's included on the list.

He's a PG. While always a bonus having a PG who can rebound, I wouldn't rely on my PG to rebound.
These number matter more to me.
22/23 #2 in the league in apg. #10 in the league ppg.
21/22 #3 in the league in apg. #4 in the league ppg.
20/21 #2 in the league in apg. #14 in the league ppg.
19/20 #2 in the league in apg. #4 in the league ppg.
18/19 #4 in the league in apg.

Indeed it is.
He was having a pretty damn good season before he got injured. Right?

Yes. He's a very good player.

He is a tier below Ant and Shai in my opinion, but you're welcome to disagree.

Trae is good. But not a foundation piece to dream about building around

I think you could absolutely build around Trae - but he's not in that tier.
He'd be like having Dak / Tua / Kyler Murray as your QB.
You gotta hit with everything else.

I like that comparison.

I do think Trae is closer to Dejounte Murray than he is to Anthony Edwards though.

I mean, if it was a player that didn't have Jayhawk affiliation we would be calling that dirty.

It was a dirty play.

Go Knicks.

Meh, the toe tap on the first one was cheap but not dirty. You aren't hurting anyone by tapping them with your foot. He had zero weight on it. The shoulder to Bruson's face was unnecessary and dirtier than the first one.

Embiid plays like an irresponsible dumbass when he's pissed about losing.

Interesting. I actually feel the opposite. The 1st seemed like an unnatural movement intentionally to step on his leg. The 2nd (hitting Brunson), while intentional and bordering "dirty" in the modern, is actually sort of a basketball play. You want your big guys making the little guys pay for coming into that lane. It was a bump, and definitely a physical play, but he didn't try to Gerald Henderson his face in half or anything.

Just saw the Suns have no first round picks from 2025-2030 and no second round picks from 2024-2030.

That's not good.

Yeah they're fucked. The owe a ton of money to their current dudes too. No draft pics and no financial flexibility, for a team of offensive minded players that didn't gel and don't play well together
