They're battling now. It just seems like in theory/on paper Beal/Booker/Durant should be so potent.

Yes it does. But they really don't play well together. The ball doesn't move like it does with other teams. And those dudes are injury prone after haven't all played together as much as you'd think

Durant getting old too

I am surprised he's done so well in the NBA.

I wish he was on a team like Sacramento or Washington and not on a team I kinda like.

Hard to like this version of the Sun's, despite KD. A messourah tiger and a dookie.

Jrue Holiday is one of my 5 or 10 favorite NBA players.

Fucking Miami is going to cost me some money tonight. It's impossible not to love how they play. Very well constructed team. Herro Bam Butler Martin Robinson are fun to watch when they are on. Plus Rozier when he's healthy.

Unreal. Killing them. Why does Boston play so tight in the playoffs?

Mazzulla really is not a good coach.
He's not forcing Celtics to run and try and beat the defense.

Miami just scorching from 3 tonight.

Yes. Obviously, a perfect storm with the short handed heat shooting historically awesome tonight from 3.

But just weird bad offense and defense all night. I don't disagree on the coaching, but Tatum and Brown also seem to choke in the playoffs.

Funny thing to say about two guys who scored 66 combined points for their team tonight.
Look to their meh coach tonight and Porzingis who didn't play defense on Bam and I think scored one basket.

They were fine tonight. I wasn't blaming them for this loss. Miami just flat out won the game by hitting shots. There wasn't much Boston could do once their entire team caught fire like NBA Jam in the late 90s.

Remember when the first round series were best of 3 games?

I think it should be 5, 5, 7, 7 with no stupid play in.

If I didn’t already know the allure of game 7 entrenched in me I might just say 5 all the way through. That should be enough to determine the best team ( allowing for a wtf fluke game from a worse squad ).

Also the regular season should be 58-65 games—every team home away and alternating years another select scattering of conference games ( maybe 65 where top half conference from season previous play each other once and bottom half the same ). Something to make the regular season more meaningful.

I’d also prefer 43 ( conference home away and alt years with opposing conference ) than 82 but that might be a touch short dollar wise.

if they only had 50 games half the players would only play 25 for load management....at 10 million a year. 400k for each game played isn't a bad check.

this world is upside down and backwards

I think that if they didn't shorten the season too much ( by days/months ) and instead had more rest days, because every game would be quite a bit more important, it'd solve a lot the load management issues.
